Overview

Jendela Kerja ("Career Window") is a career platform website that helps job seekers take the next step in their careers. Instead of jumping between different sites, users can join career webinars, browse job openings, read the full details of each role and submit their application, all on one platform.

Project at a Glance

  • Type: Website, web development
  • Platform: Responsive web
  • Audience: Students, fresh graduates and professionals looking for new opportunities

The Challenge

Job seekers often have to piece together career information from many sources: event pages for webinars, job boards for openings, and separate forms or emails to apply. The goal was to build one clear, friendly platform where users can learn, explore and apply without friction, and where each step naturally leads to the next.

Landing Page

The landing page introduces the platform with a warm welcome and a clear call to action, then guides visitors through everything the platform offers:

  • Webinar Schedule: a scrollable row of upcoming career webinars on topics like building a digital portfolio, breaking into the tech industry, interview etiquette and personal finance, each with a one-click registration button.
  • About: a short introduction to the platform, paired with a video.
  • Job Openings: a searchable, filterable grid of job cards with pagination. Each card shows the role, company, a short summary and quick actions to apply or view details.

Job Detail

Each job has its own page with a bold hiring banner and all the key facts at a glance: location, work type, salary range, company profile and application deadline. Below it, the role is broken down into clear sections covering the position, qualifications and benefits, with icons for perks like health insurance, learning budget and hybrid working. A sticky side card keeps the "Apply" and "Save job" actions within reach, along with how recently the job was posted and how many people have applied.

Application Flow

Applying is split into three simple steps:

  1. Applicant details: name, email, phone number, location and LinkedIn profile.
  2. CV & portfolio: a drag-and-drop area for uploading a CV in PDF format, plus a portfolio link.
  3. Confirmation: a final check and consent before submitting.

A summary card of the selected role and its deadline stays visible throughout. Applicants can also save their progress as a draft and come back later.

Sign-In

A split-screen login page pairs the platform's message, "Open your career window, find the best opportunities", with a simple sign-in form. Signing in gives users access to their dashboard, where they can view openings, manage their profile and follow their applications.

Visual Design

The interface is built around a confident crimson red, softened by light backgrounds, rounded cards and playful geometric accents like dotted patterns and half circles. Friendly avatar illustrations and clear typography make the platform feel welcoming rather than corporate. This matters for users who may be applying for their very first job.

Closing Thoughts

Jendela Kerja turns the job-seeking journey into one connected experience: learn through webinars, discover the right role, and apply in a few guided steps. The result is a career platform that feels approachable, organized and ready to help users take their next step with confidence.
